Kirk Rothenberger (Owner)
Throughout my career, I've held positions in various industries including construction, manufacturing, food, and packaging. These experiences led my family to relocate across Canada and Germany before ultimately settling in Halifax in 2015.
Enamored by the charm of the Maritimes, my wife and I were compelled to make it our forever home. Upon departing Clearwater Seafoods in 2017, I set out in search of new endeavors. This journey led us to establish two businesses: Maritime Curbing Limited and KPR Business Consulting.
Stephen Belyea (Team Lead)
Raised in Nova Scotia, I spent my summers outdoors, enjoying landscaping jobs. After high school, I pursued Environmental Engineering at Dalhousie University. Post-graduation, I gained experience at various engineering firms.
Upon meeting Kirk and his family and learning about Maritime Curbing Limited, I became intrigued. This opportunity offered hands-on involvement in a thriving business, and I wholeheartedly believe in the company's product and vision. We take great pride in the work we've accomplished since becoming part of the team.
Matthew McCrossin (Senior Curbing Specialist)
I started my journey with Maritime Curbing Limited in 2021 when I was still a young adult with three years of school remaining. Seeking a job that fits with my summer availability while allowing me to continue my studies from fall to spring, I found the perfect match. Working outdoors during the summers, assisting in the growth of a remarkable business, was an ideal scenario for me. I've always had a passion for being outside and engaging in construction activities.
Now, as a full-time teacher, I enjoy complete freedom during the summer months. I'm genuinely passionate about the products we create for our customers. Whether it involves crafting a downspout, a stepping stone, or our signature edged curbing, we are committed to delivering a distinctive and beautiful enhancement to your yard.
